Nurture Healthcare is proud to be able to work with Hearts Milk Bank to support our local families with the provision of donor breast milk.

This may be supporting preterm or sick infants being cared for in our local hospitals or families in the community where breastfeeding is found to be particularly challenging or impossible.  This may be for many reasons, for example maternal breast surgery or breastfeeding may be contraindicated due to medication.

We have the facility to collect, store and transport, donated breast milk by working closely with Northumbria Blood Bikes.
